Colorado Equine Clinic is nestled on 35 acres at the foot of the beautiful Rocky Mountains

Colorado Equine Clinic's StallsThe Full Service, 24 Hour Equine Clinic is designed for safety of our equine patients and people.  The building contains a large exam room with stocks, a surgery suite, radiology room, radiographic interpretation room, outside stocks, laboratory and a spacious reception area.

Many procedures can be performed on the standing horse, eliminating the risks associated with general anesthesia.

HospitalizationThe main building also houses four 10'x 12' stalls and one foaling stall. Two of the stalls are set up to run intravenous fluids for our hospitalized patients, one of which also has the capacity for a hoist if a sling is required.

Surgical Suite

Most surgeries are performed on an inflatable surgery table under general anesthesia for your horse's comfort.

An experienced, certified technician monitors blood pressure and heart rate during surgeries to minimize risks and ensure an adequate plane of anesthesia is maintained.

Colorado Equine's LabColorado Equine Clinic's In-House Laboratory enables us to perform complete blood counts, blood chemistries, blood gases, and electrolyte measurements.

Colorado Equine Clinic is also a licensed Equine Infectious Anemia laboratory to assist with your Coggin's Test needs. We also utilize a number of reference labs for tests that we do not run in-house such as hay analysis, hormone levels and bacterial/fungal cultures.

Pens and dry lot

Outside pens provide convenient access to your horse during visits to the hospital and outdoor boarding for hospitalized patients. There are three small round pens, one large round pen, and four small square pens available. We also have an isolation stall on the facility should the need arise.

Rehabilitation and Boarding Pastures

We have found the natural environment to be one of our greatest healing tools.

Isolationhorse in isolationThere are four pastures for grazing, and two central dry lots where the horses are housed at night. The dry lots have large loafing sheds which offer shelter during inclement weather.
