Ashley, a Montana native, moved to Colorado in 2008 after finishing her enlistment contract with the U.S. Marine Corps in order to pursue her childhood dreams of becoming a veterinary technician. A year later, she graduated with high honors from Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology following a rigorous internship at a well-known specialty and emergency clinic. Ashley has worked with small animals in general practice since and really enjoys getting to know pets as they develop through life and guiding owners during those changes. She especially enjoys geriatric care and pain management and has been working toward becoming a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner.
When not in the clinic, Ashley loves spending her free time with her senior dog Clyde, hiking the trails with her horse Dutch, and seeing what kind of shenanigans her four cats have devised. She is also an avid traveler and hopes to explore every national park and see as much of the world as possible.
