Bella was raised in Colorado where she grew up alongside her grandfather, Dr. Gyula Joo in his veterinary clinic going on calls and riding horses with him. He sparked her love of animals. She has owned several of her own from hamsters and rabbits, to an alpaca and fish, as well as cats and dogs. She currently has three one-year-old cats, Wednesday Gomez and Pugsley, her 16-year-old childhood cat named Mibi, and a 6-month-old rescue kitten named Freya (pictured). Freya was hit by a car when she was 2 months old and was thought to be paralyzed for the rest of her life, but Bella and the team at CEC have helped her to walk, climb and be a kitten again!
Bella lived in Idaho for a few years previously and has since moved back to pursue her degree in Cybersecurity from MSU Denver. She is expecting to graduate in 2024. Her mother still lives in Idaho and rescues abandoned and stray cats, she has rescued over 30 so far and given them much better lives. Bella enjoys hiking, photography, baking, and of course, spending time with her pets.
