Maile’s love of animals began at an early age with dreams of becoming a veterinarian since she was in grade school. She got involved with horses by working for a ranch cleaning stalls in trade for riding lessons. Maile earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Science at Colorado State University in 2018. Always loving medicine in college, she became an EMT and worked in urgent care over the last couple of years. However, because of her love of animals, she decided to shift back to veterinary medicine instead and is working on applying to vet school in 2024. She is happy to be back and starting her career in veterinary medicine with CEC where she hopes to continue to learn and strives to provide the best care to her patients and clients alike. When not working, Maile can be found reading, riding, and adventuring all around Colorado with her dogs, Lula and Flynn, and horse, Indy.
