What Does the Laser Technolgoy Do?

The laser is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes the body’s own healing agents to treat pain, inflammation, injuries, poor circulation, and more.

It can treat ailments such as kissing spines, strained tendons, deep muscle pain, slow-healing wounds, nerve paralysis, swelling, and more.

“One of the most meaningful uses of laser technology has been through its use in medicine. Diode lasers are very efficient and reliable and will probably lead to a silent revolution in medical application.”

High-Intensity Class IV Laser

CEC uses a high-intensity Class IV Laser. The laser emits a wavelength of 8800–9000 nm to get through the layers of skin and fat to reach the muscle tissue.

Our laser works at a higher power to give a greater effect on the cells and can range from 0–30 watts.

Class III, or low-level lasers, also called cold lasers, do not exceed 800 nm and can only reach the fat. They work at a lower power range of 0.0005–0.5 watts. At this lower power range, treatments need to be 120 times longer to be as effective as our 30-watt laser.

Six treatments over a one- to two-week time frame is advised. However, one single treatment will assist in reducing pain.

Patients usually stay three nights in the hospital at a discounted daily board rate and receive two laser treatments per day. Laser therapy is best used in combination with chiropractic treatments for optimal results.
